Wide Orbit State Change: MANUAL to AUTO

This guide details the new procedure for airing top of hour messages on ALL KDHX programs.

The general concept: using our AUTOMATION SYSTEM to make certain grouped spots and other pre-recorded content playout automatically - in particular, the Underwriting TAGs that are sporadically scheduled to follow our daily calendars and sponsored features.

The detail: use the "W/O Next" green button to trigger a new type of item in the system called a "state change." It will have the word AUTO in bold letters on it, and will trigger a change from "Manual" operation mode (our standard, where you're triggering each item with the button) to "Automatic" mode, where the system just plays whatever it has in line until it either runs out of material, or is reverted back to Manual mode.

The Process:

1. after you've completed the live read, press the green button to advance that item in the stack, essentially cueing up the next item: AUTO.

1. at the scheduled time (either one minute or 3:00 before the hour), press the green button to trigger the item "AUTO"

1. Notice the time countdown area of the display now shows the word "AUTOMATIC" under the time

1. Each item plays automatically until the system reverts back to Manual Mode.

Tips and Reminders:

• We lose revenue at each instance a spot is mis played of fired late.
