We will often re-purpose the 4th HDMI transmitter/receiver to get a signal to another place in the building via Ethernet.

Some testing of RJ45s in the Stage will be needed, as a few connections weren't working on first try.

*An exception to use of HDMI is related to client or performer source being an older analog style, ala VGA or RCA video.  <br>

For instance, we use a KVM (labeled in a lower drawer in the booth) to move a VGA analog video signals from the Stage floor box via ethernet directly to KVM receiver located atop the projector.  Ethernet jacks are located behind the X32 and labeled by # and according to function.

Technical Specifications for the LJW Stage

AUDIO

FOH Speakers

  • Power Rack on/off before Speaker power
  • Plug in Speakers after rack power up (and unplug before rack power down)
  • Sub - used as needed, turn on the top amp, and plug the TRS into a wall jack (9 or 10)

Monitors

  • ground lifts will fix buzz
  • will need TRS to XLR adapter cables
  • max mixes = 6
  • have 2 black Mackie 450s, 4 x grey Mackie 450s, and 4 x black Mackie 350s.

Rack

  • 6 EQs - stereo pair for mains, and 1-4 correspond to Auxes 1-4
  • patch bay
    • Aux Busses 1-6 are direct to 1-6 TRS
    • Stage TRS plug numbers are poorly ordered (R to L), so cross patching at rack is standard
    • Use 9 or 10 to send Mono/Center mix to sub

X32 Console *1-22 channels hard-wired from stage

Re-patch these only in special circumstances, and return to this to normalize:

  • 25/26,27/28 are CD players 1 and 2
  • 29/30 - House Mics for Matrix and recording, typically muted in FOH
  • 31/32 - KDHX Air Signal

VIDEO

Destinations/Screens: 1. Projector / Screen

  • Use remote to turn on/off projector and make adjustments
  • Use screen remote to lower/lift screen - does not reach from cabin, walk out, or use the wall control near the stage door
  • If projector source gives pink and green, need to adjust Color Matrix from RGB to SDTV (or Auto)

found in Menu>Adjust>Color Matrix>Auto or RGB

  • Use projector remote to "blank" the screen as projection preparation is necessary

2. TV in Cafe Window (Samsung remote)
3. TV on Cafe South Wall (Samsung remote)

Some testing of RJ45s in the Stage will be needed, as a few connections weren't working on first try.
