'''Pledge''': Pledges are the donor’s promise to give a set amount of funding over a set period of time. For KDHX, this generally refers to an unpaid pledge during membership drive, which is defined as being due in one payment within 30 days, but it can also be multiple payments over a longer period of time.  The difference between pledges and recurring/sustaining gifts is that pledges have a specific total amount and a defined payment arrangement.. Pledge entry sets up the donation (pledge) record, specifies the gift designation and defines the payment terms.
